About Me

(in about 209 words)

Intro

I am a Staff Application Security Engineer at Okta and I try to break things and find vulnerabilities. At work, I try to challenge myself as much as possible by learning new things. I believe once you stop learning at your job, it's time to move on.

I've always dreamed of having a job that has huge impact on others and I'm living that dream.

Some History

  • At the end of 2015, I found my first vulnerability on Uber
  • In 2016, I joined my first Hackathon event hosted by HackerOne during DEFCON and placed 4th overall
  • In 2017, I dropped out of UNLV and joined Synack as a Security Analyst
  • In 2018, I joined Okta as an Application Security Engineer
  • In 2018, I challenge myself to find 120, valid and accepted vulnerabilities in 120 days. I finished the challenge a few days early and donated 10% to March of Dimes
  • While at Okta, I've been promoted in 2020 & 2021

Travel

Everyone should take the opportunity to travel when they're young. This is one quote that I always tell myself: "You can always make money, but you can't make time."

Here are a list of places I would love to visit:

  • Banff
  • Anchorage, AK
  • Geneva, Swizterland
  • Spain
  • Greece
  • Germany
